Tips and Tricks[]

Role & Strategy[]

  • Inkling is an offensive fighter with a Signature Ability that grants her bonus damage and unblockable special moves as long as she has living teammates. Hence, Inkling works best as the first fighter in the match in order to reliably take advantage of her abilities without worrying about KO'd allies decreasing her damage.
  • Inkling's Signature Ability places greater emphasis on using special moves for unblockable hits, allowing Inkling to find openings easily. However, it is often good to have one or two blockbusters equipped, such as any of the unblockable Tier 3 blockbusters.
    • It is important to note that each special move hit has an individual chance to be unblockable. Therefore, BANG, BANG, BANG!, dealing three hits, has a higher chance to break through.
  • It is important to keep distance between you and the opponent so that you can use special moves safely. Throwing the enemy is helpful as it knocks back the opponent and provides the distance to safely use special moves. This can be done right at the start of a match due to the size of Peacock's grab. Be cautious when throwing Cerebella however, as her BALANCING ACT can render you vulnerable.
  • Marquee Ability: SPECIAL FEATURE is the recommended Marquee Ability for Inkling, as it directly compliments her Signature Ability by providing the chance to reset special move cooldown and reuse it almost immediately.
  • Stat Investment: Like any other offensive Peacocks, Inkling will benefit from investment in ATK, Piercing and Meter Gain to increase her damage output while charging blockbusters faster. Special Cooldown allows her to gain special moves faster in the case her Marquee Ability fails to reset the cooldown.

Rift Battles[]

  • When used defensively, Inkling will mostly rely on her second Signature Ability that can make her special moves unblockable, which may deal substantial damage to your fighters. In conjunction with the Peacock-specific catalyst, Hollow Points, this can deal significant damage through HEAVY BLEED and ARMOR BREAK. Although this probably won't be enough to secure a kill, this may affect the health bonus points that are calculated as part of the Rift score.
