The Chess Kingdom is one of three countries involved in the Grand War. Not much is known about it outside of a few tidbits.
General Information[]
The Chess Kingdom's "technology" is based on magic, while the Canopy Kingdom is more based on science. The main religion is a variant of the Trinity religion. The kingdom's demographic is mostly human. It resembles a traditional European society with a medieval motif but within the more modern setting.
The name of the Kingdom is derived from the majority of its military force having robotic golems that resemble giant rooks.[1]
Known characters from the Chess Kingdom[]
- Fuscienne: a character who is mentioned in an old Livejournal post by Alex Ahad. She is a "black bishop" from the Chess Kingdom, who was sent to Canopolis to kidnap the princesses of the Canopy Kingdom because the Chess Kingdom wasn’t so trustworthy of the Canopy King’s new sudden friendliness. They decided to send Fuscienne in secret to get an edge over the Canopy Kingdom. Her name seems to be a type of Latin word meaning black.
Trivia[]
- The distances between the Canopy Kingdom, the Gigan Nation and the Chess Kingdom are roughly the equivalent of the distances between Europe, Russia and Southwest Asia and are separated by No Man's Land.
